The Colours of the National Football Teams of the World
The map shows countries by the main colour of the home shirt of their national football team. Many countries, particularly in Africa and the Caribbean, have not settled on a particular colour (come on, guys; be a buddy!). Another really interested offbeat entry. Interesting to see the big swathe of red from Eastern Europe across to Asia. Interesting too the lack of stripes and the relative lack of blue!
Great job, only an apparent mistake, Austria have a white shirt.
Interesting to realize that no national team has black in their main shirts…
I imagine that is because oft the traditional black strip worn by referees of yore?
